Another thing that I always have to remember is, I don’t have a big budget so I want to get the best for less, just like many of you that are reading this article. Below is my 3 step process that I use when I want to buy a new laptop.
Step 1- The first thing that I do is write down a list of everything that I want my new laptop to have. I just write and write until my list has about 25 items on the list. Once I am finished with my list I go over the list and scratch off anything that is not a “must have”. After doing that, I am usually left with about 12 items on my list.
Step 2- I fire up my computer and do a search in Google. I’ll usually start with sites like Best Buy but mainly I go with Amazon. I like these 2 sites because offer the variety, discount prices and they have just about every brand you could possiblely and want. When I am on the sites, I am looking specifically for computers that are in my price range, for me it’s usually $1000 or less. You can find a good laptop of high quality for less than $1000 in case you’re wondering.
Step 3- My last step is to look at and read everything about the laptop. Pay attention to the reviews. Look at the customer star ratings on Amazon. Focus on the good comments as well as the bad. Compare all of the items on your list with the features of the laptops that you’re looking at. Start checking off everything on your list and be sure you write down the different brands. After you’ve spent about an hour or so doing that, you should have a nice list a computers to choose from that will give you, according to your needs a list of the best laptops to buy.

Staying within your comfort zone will make you a master of your domain and can expose you to new avenues of interest.

Problems which may arise on a day to day as a sys admin can include system failures, application errors, hardware issues, server maintenance, data or system recovery, etc. As a sys admin it is your job to keep all computer systems up and running at all times. It is also your responsibility to monitor the systems before its point of failure and therefore perform preventative maintenance for the software and hardware of each system. You are responsible for maintaining proper file structure, security permissions, systems upkeep, systems inventory, and systems functionality. As a sys admin you are the front-line defense and you should take initiative in recommending software and hardware purchases for your organization.

A sys admin job is not hard work as long as you have the right tools and you know how to use them. A good sys admin uses tools to assist and aid in the proper maintenance of systems. These tools can include remote administration tools, system/network monitoring tools, security tools, troubleshooting tools, disaster recovery tools, etc. A good sys admin is also very resourceful and can usually find help or answers to even the most complex issues. An experienced sys admin also knows how to handle stressful environments and situations, which is usually the nature of the business. The best way to alleviate or reduce stress in the workplace is to take a break and relax your thoughts. Let your mind go free and take a deep breathe. Its Intel GMA 4500M graphics were able to deliver a smooth video experience.

The Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX is based on the single-core Intel Celeron 900 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. That speed helped it outpace the Acer Aspire AS5532-5535, which uses a single-core AMD Athlon 64 QL-62 processor clocked at 1.6GHz. Also in the Celeron’s favor is its 1MB of L2 cache; the Athlon 64 QL-62 has only 512KB. The Acer Aspire does feature 3GB of DDR2 memory to the Presario’s 2GB, but the extra gigabyte of memory didn’t help the Acer’s cause in our tests. The Presario completed CNET Labs’ multitasking test in nearly half the time the Acer Aspire took, and it was 32 percent and 47 percent faster than the Acer on our Photoshop and iTunes benchmarks, respectively.
